WisdomTree begun trading 2 new ETFs: the WisdomTree International Hedged SmallCap Dividend Fund (NYSE Arca: HDLS) and the WisdomTree Global ex-U.S. Hedged Dividend Fund (NYSE Arca: DXUS) on Thursday, June 04, 2015.

FUND OBJECTIVE:

The WisdomTree International Hedged SmallCap Dividend Fund eeks to track the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the WisdomTree International Hedged SmallCap Dividend Index.

 

REFERENCE INDEX:

The WisdomTree International Hedged SmallCap Dividend Index is a dividend weighted index designed to provide exposure to small-capitalization companies in the industrialized world, excluding Canada and the United States, that pay regular cash dividends on shares of common stock, while at the same time neutralizing exposure to fluctuations between the value of foreign currencies and the U.S. dollar.
Constituent companies are selected from the WisdomTree Dividend Index of Europe, Far East Asia and Australasia (WisdomTree DEFA Index). The Index consists of the companies that comprise the bottom 25% of the market capitalization of the WisdomTree DEFA Index, as of the annual Index screening date, after the 300 largest companies have been removed.

To be eligible for inclusion in the Index, a company must meet the following criteria:
(i) incorporation in one of 15 developed European countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom), Israel, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong or Singapore,
(ii) payment of at least $5 million in cash dividends on common shares in the annual cycle prior to the annual Index screening date,
(iii) have a market capitalization of at least $100 million as of the Index screening date,
(iv) have an average daily dollar volume of at least $100,000 for each of the 3 months preceding the Index screening date,
(v) have trading of at least 250,000 shares per month for each of the 6 months preceding the Index screening date, and
(vi) have a calculated volume factor (the average daily dollar volume for the 3 months preceding the Index screening date divided by the preliminary weight of the security in the Index) that is greater than $200 million.
Companies are weighted in the Index based on annual cash dividends paid.

As of May 22, 2015, the Index had a market capitalization range from $26.54 million to $6.54 billion, with an average market capitalization of $1.03 billion.

FUND OBJECTIVE:

The WisdomTree Global ex-U.S. Hedged Dividend Fund seeks to track the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the WisdomTree Global ex-U.S.  Hedged Dividend Index.

REFERENCE INDEX:

The WisdomTree Global ex-U.S. Hedged Dividend Index is a dividend weighted index designed to provide exposure to the largest dividend paying common stocks outside of the United States, while at the same time neutralizing exposure to fluctuations between the value of foreign currencies and the U.S. dollar. The Index consists of the 1,000 largest companies measured by free-float market capitalization that are included in the WisdomTree Global ex-U.S. Dividend Index, which measures the performance of dividend paying companies in emerging markets and developed markets outside the United States. Companies included in the Global ex-U.S. Dividend Index and, resultantly, the Index, must be incorporated and have their shares listed for trading on one of the major stock exchanges in Europe, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand or Turkey.

To be eligible for inclusion in the Index, a company must meet the following criteria:
(i) payment of at least $5 million in cash dividends on common shares in the annual cycle prior to the annual Index screening date,
(ii) have a market capitalization of at least $100 million ($200 million for companies in emerging markets) as of the Index screening date,
(iii) have an average daily dollar volume of at least $100,000 for three months ($200,0000 for each of the 6 months for companies in emerging markets) preceding the Index screening date,
(iv) have trading of at least 250,000 shares per month for each of the 6 months preceding the Index screening date, and
(v) have a calculated volume factor (the average daily dollar volume for the 3 months preceding the Index screening date divided by the preliminary weight of the security in the Index) that is greater than $200 million.
