FUND OBJECTIVE:
The Deutsche X-trackers MSCI EAFE Small Cap Hedged Equity ETF seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI EAFE Small Cap U.S. Dollar Hedged Index.

 

REFERENCE INDEX:
The MSCI EAFE Small Cap U.S. Dollar Hedged Index tracks the performance of small-cap stocks in select developed markets outside of the United States while mitigating exposure to fluctuations between the value of the U.S. dollar and select non-U.S. currencies.
As of June 30, 2015, the Underlying Index consisted of 2,164 securities, with an average market capitalization of approximately $914.54 million and a minimum market capitalization of approximately $26.74 million.

REFERENCE INDEX:
The JPX-Nikkei 400 Total Return USD Hedged Index s designed to track the performance of equity securities of issuers who are primarily listed on the JASDAQ Stock  Exchange (JASDAQ) or the following sections of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE):
the first section (for large companies), the second section (for middle-sized companies) and the “Mothers” (for high-growth and emerging stocks) while mitigating exposure to fluctuations between the value of the Japanese yen and the U.S. dollar.
