Since Wednesday, a new exchange traded fund of iShares has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.
The iShares Edge MSCI Europe Minimum Volatility ESG UCITS ETF enables investors to invest in a selection of stocks from 15 Western European countries, taking into account sustainability criteria and volatility risks. From the stock universe of the MSCI Europe Index, companies are first selected that meet ESG criteria such as exclusion of gambling, weapons or tobacco, but in particular, the lowest possible CO2 emissions are considered. Subsequently, equities are filtered out using a minimum volatility strategy in order to minimise the portfolio's volatility.
